Arcangelo Piai’s photographs on the Veneto Pavilion, Vinitaly
Arcangelo Piai’s images were star attractions at the last Vinitaly in Verona: printed at huge size, they covered the walls of the Veneto Pavilion.
When asked which camera could take pictures at such a high resolution, Arcangelo replied:
"there are no cameras that capture such high resolution and quality; we’re not talking megapixels.
These are gigapixels! So, to get good quality prints with dimensions of 10 metres high and 30 or 40 metres long, we composite 60 to 100 high res images captured with a high-end digital camera"
