International co-operation creates a small miracle as Italian winemaking expertise brings life back to the old vineyards of Albania

It seems paradoxical that in this age of globalisation characterised by the uniformity of tastes and consumption around the world, there co-exists a desire for particular produce coming from areas of often no more than a few square kilometres. Perhaps in a natural reaction against this unformity our palate searches for new flavours leaving us with a need to try different foods and drinks.
