The German photographer Reinhard Schmid lives in southern Bavaria near Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
Dedicated to travel since his youth, at the age of 18 he hitchhiked to venture into the Sahara Desert with his trusty camera.
He turned his hobby into a job and graduated in photography at the University of Cologne. After working for a few years in German television, he started working for the photo agency Huber images and his partner SIMEPHOTO.
He mainly deals with travel, city and landscape photography.
